The Friends of the Heritage Community (FHC) Foundation

Friends of the Heritage Community FoundationThe Friends of the Heritage Community (FHC) Foundation was incorporated under the Societies Act in November of 2003 in support of its parent, the Heritage Community Foundation, to achieve its mandate to “link people with heritage through discovery and learning.”
 
The Friends' role is to broaden the capacity of the Heritage Community Foundation to work with communities and to support the Foundation’s vision, mission and mandate.  The objects of the Friends of the Heritage Community (FHC) Foundation include:

  • To support programs to help build community identity and pride
  • To develop and undertake special events, conferences, symposia and lectures
  • To build knowledge, understanding and appreciation of historical, natural, cultural, scientific and technological heritage of Alberta
