Alberta Central Railway Museum

Program Title: Tour

Program Outline: Students take an interpretive tour or train ride designed to help develop an understanding of travel and technology in the time when the railroad was vital to Canadian settlement, travel, and transportation.

Availability: Throughout the year as weather permits. Normal operation of programs is September to October and late April, May, and June.

Cost of Program: $1.00 per student

Maximum Group Size: 25

Adult/Student Ratio: 5:25

Program Materials: All materials provided

Booking Requirements: Each program can be developed to suit the specific needs and age levels of students so a pre-visit consultation with teachers is necessary. Phone Number for Bookings: (403) 352-2257

Additional Information: Service to groups and visitors at times of the year beyond seasonal operation is always available, as long as weather conditions permit. Many school groups visit during the museum off-season.
