Welcome to Grade 7 !!

Welcome to the Spirituality and Creation Stories Edukit. This edukit has been designed to allow you to access all kinds of neat facts about Aboriginal peoples. There is a really interesting section on the medicinal uses of plants and how different Aboriginal groups utilized them. You will get to study up on some of the plants, herbs, berries, and shrubs that grow in Alberta. The Devonian Botanical Garden also supplied us with some fantastic pictures of many of the plants that Aboriginal people still utilize today. This edukit will hopefully allow you to understand the special spiritual connection that Aboriginal peoples have with the land and animals.
