Heritage Community Foundation Presents
Alberta Online Encyclopedia

Regions

Map of Alberta

The telling of Alberta's real estate story, as with the province's history, must be presented in a regional context. The land shaped settlement, and communities developed as a result of that settlement. Thus, the built heritage of communities and of the real estate industry is regional in nature. It also makes sense because the real estate industry and profession is organized on a regional basis.

When the Alberta's Real Estate Heritage Website is completed, every region in the province will be covered:

  • Brooks
  • Calgary
  • Central Alberta
  • Edmonton
  • Fort McMurray
  • Grande Prairie
  • Lethbridge
  • Lloydminster
  • Medicine Hat
  • Northeastern Alberta
  • West Central Alberta

The Alberta's Real Estate Heritage Website involves a partnership between the Heritage Community Foundation, a charitable trust that developed and maintains the Alberta Online Encyclopedia, the Alberta Real Estate Foundation and the regional REALTORS'® associations. Phase 1 has involved the development of provincial content and Edmonton region.
