So, This Is Alberta! Partners and Contributors Page

The Heritage Community Foundation would like to hug and / or kiss each and every one of the individuals and groups in the following list. These are the ones who made generous contributions of time, money, artwork, resource materials, photographs, video, audio, advice, and so many other shiny things that helped us build this website from the ground up.

First of all, a very special thank you goes to the CIP Alberta Lottery Fund, who laid the financial foundations upon which we could build this project.

Gary Delainey – the writer, the man who gave us the storyline for the comic adventure, and penned all of the Shiny Facts for Raven to spout off He also gave us lots of feedback on the care and feeding of this website.

Gerry Rasmussen – the artist, the man who sketched and inked all the artwork that you see liberally placed throughout the website. Many thanks to him for the pictures and wonderful characters he provided for us.

The Glenbow Museum and Archives, Calgary – many of the historic photographs you see in this website come from the Glenbow Museum and Archives collection, an extensive collection of photographs that carries vivid reminders of the faces, places, and events that have shaped Alberta’s past century.

Travel Alberta – A very special thanks goes to the fine folks at Travel Alberta and Alberta Economic Development, who provided some of the wonderful photographs and videos to help users experience this fine 100 year old province of ours.

The Royal Alberta Museum, Edmonton – The museum formerly known as the Provincial Museum of Alberta provided us with more of the fine photographs that you see on this website, as well as a few audio clips.

The CKUA Radio Network, Edmonton – This website was in fine voice thanks to the many audio files from such radio shows as Heritage Trails, and Ecofiles. Many thanks to CKUA for opening up their vaults and filling our website with sound!

We would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the following contributors who provided us with even more shiny things including additional photographs, video, audio, articles, advice, assistance, a shoulder to cry on, etc., etc., etc.
