The Mixedgrass Climate

A snapshot of the climate of the Mixedgrass The climate of the Mixedgrass Subregion is slightly moister and cooler than that of the Dry Mixedgrass Subregion. The mean annual temperature is about 5 degrees Celsius with a mean summer temperature around 15 degrees Celsius which is 1 or 2 degrees Celsius cooler than the Dry Mixedgrass Subregion. Winter temperatures in the Mixedgrass Subregion are a few degrees warmer than the Dry Mixedgrass Subregion, with a greater frequency of Chinook days (20-30 more days) but with greater snow cover due to greater precipitation during the winter months. Annual precipitation in the Mixedgrass Subregion is also  about 20% greater than for the Dry Mixedgrass Subregion.
