Currently, the majority of the artefacts are in the Macdonald School, while the other buildings under restoration. Displays include a hospital bed and equipment, barber’s tools, office furniture, tools, school texts, manuals, novels, atlas, attendance records, licence plates, household items (Wringer washers, cookware, furniture, and baby’s things) toiletries, newspapers, computers, and even the horse from Hemstock’s.

R.C.M.P. Centennial Museum

The R.C.M.P. Centennial Museum is located at: 10813 103rd Avenue

The Fairview R.C.M.P. Centennial Celebration Museum finds its home in what was originally the R.C.M.P. barracks and residence in the late 1920s. A small wing, which is now used to display old time memorabilia, was once a cell for rowdy prisoners, as well as the office of the R.C.M.P.

With displays on the main floor, upper floor, basement, and porch, the museum is literally filled to the brim with artefacts, displays, and photographs that capture and preserve the history of the surrounding area. The authentic look of the period can be seen in the kitchen, living room, dinning room, office, upstairs bedroom (complete with a closet of clothes) and nursery (with toys and porcelain dolls), and in the basement, there are replicas of old institutions such as a trading post, hospital, hair dresser, post office, and school may be viewed.

There is no Admission Fee, but donations are appreciated.

From May to September the museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
