This project is a collaborative endeavour involving the Grande Prairie Museum, the Spirit of the Peace Museums Network and the Heritage Community Foundation. This project is intended as a multi-phase project that will ultimately involve all 26 members of the network. The digitized collections will be integrated in the educational programs, both analog and online, of individual Spirit of the Peace museums as well as the Heritage Community Foundation websites and youth projects, and Virtual Museum of Canada initiatives. They will serve as  a resource for teachers, educators and museum visitors as well as World Wide Web users locally, nationally and internationally.  In order to digitize selected items from the collections of Alberta Peace Region museums and make them available on the web.
