Welcome to the Student Zone of the Alberta's Inventors and Inventions Edukit. Here students will find textual information and worksheets they will need in order to complete activities the teacher will guide them through.Alberta's Inventors and Inventions: A Century of Innovation.

  • Glossary - This section provides a listing of terms used throughout the various textual resources and worksheets. Please refer to these definitions if you would like to know more or are not sure about the meaning of a word.
  • Fun Facts - Discover interesting facts from the Alberta's Inventors and Inventions website and other sources.
  • Student Textual Resources - Here you will find inventor profiles, sectors of discovery and patent text, all meant to help students understand how inventors get their start and the process of inventing and patenting/protecting their intellectual property.
  • Student Worksheets - Worksheets have been designed to help a student explore and understand the process of inventing by making their own inventor bio or filling out a patent form.
