Each person within every cultural community in Alberta has a different story to tell. You often only hear
about individuals who keep or have kept higher profiles. However, the people you don't hear about so much, your friends
and neighbours, have equally interesting backgrounds. Here we would
like to share with you the story of Joe and Josephine Crowshoe,
elders from the Peigan reserve in southern Alberta. Find out how
the Crowshoes have helped to preserve their culture, inspire youth
on the reserve and brought understanding and sensitivity towards
First Nations history and heritage to the world.
