Campus Saint-Jean and Heritage Community Foundation are happy to welcome you to their new Virtual Archives Site where a good number of interesting archival documents are presented in their entirety. All of the archival documents presented here are housed at Campus Saint-Jean’s Salle des archives which was established in 2005 in order to regroup Saint-Jean’s growing collections. More specifically, most of the documents presented here belong to the Durocher Collection, one of Saint-Jean largest and most interesting collections prepared by the institution’s former librarian, Father Georges Durocher, O.M.I. The Durocher Collection contains thousands of historical documents many of which date back to the late 1800’s.

The Saint-Paul Collection also one of Saint-Jean’s collections, is part of Projet Héritage Franco-Albertain. This collection contains numerous fascinating documents : pictures, recipes, legends, songs and a large number of taped interviews with Franco-Albertan pioneers from all over Alberta.

The Saint-Jean’s archives also contain numerous other collections such as the ACFA, Bokor, CHFA, Morcos, Smith, Salon and Auclair collections. The Saint-Jean archives collection catalogue can by accessed by using the following internet address www.fsj.ualberta.ca/ippf .
