CKUA Program Production

As is common with most radio stations, CKUA has produced much of its own programming from its earliest days. These included educational talks (as part of the University of Alberta Department of Extension's mandate to bring university to the people), studio and on-location musical performances, the production of radio dramas, and the eventual production of news, sports and documentaries.
