Our Vision

www.Edukits.ca is a new kind of learning resource that draws on the expertise of heritage institutions and organizations for public education purposes. Developed and maintained by the Heritage Community Foundation, the site is a dynamic, ever-growing content source that brings a world of knowledge to your fingertips.

www.Edukits.ca has been custom-designed to make use of the power of new technology and the World Wide Web. It is an entry-point into an assemblage of educational resources that are continually growing and changing. It includes not only content developed by the Heritage Community Foundation but also Alberta's senior museums, heritage organizations and regional museum networks. The site is a key component of the Alberta Heritage Portal, which the Foundation is developing to address the needs of students, teachers and parents for an authoritative source for both formal and informal learning.
