The Heritage Community Foundation would like to thank the following people and organizations for their assistance and direction in making this online educational resource possible.

The City of Edmonton Archives provided us with historical photographs of Alex Decoteau. Archivist Susan Stanton was key in procuring the photographs for this project.

Edmonton Public School teachers Charlotte Cameron (Eastwood School), Nina Jackson (R. J. Scott/ Lawton Campus) and Susan Strebchuk (Norwood School) (and her students) brought their enthusiasm and expertise in helping develop this draft. Without their interest, the project would not have had such a clear intention or have been so convivial in its development.

Karen McDowall, Special Programs Coordinator at the Edmonton Police Museum and Archives helped with wonderful Edmonton Police Service photographs and we appreciate her patience and technical skills in this matter.

This resource would not have been possible without Izola Mottershead, a descendant of Alex Decoteau's family. We appreciate her insight and generosity in sharing with us the personal stories and documents related to Alex Decoteau. Her contribution in providing information, suggestions and editorial assistance is substantial.
