The Alberta Heritage Alphabet is an online, multi-media tool for use by teachers, students and parents. The website provides key facts about the historical, natural and cultural heritage of the Province of Alberta. The alphabet, the tool by which children acquire vocabulary and language skills, is used as the vehicle for providing broad information about Alberta's historical, natural, cultural, scientific and technological heritage. The prototype of this website was done by DevStudios E-commerce students and Heritage Community staff as a class project and included a 24 hour Code-A-Thon at the Provincial Museum of Alberta.
