Heritage Community Foundation

The missionary was not alone in his work. He was accompanied by his wife, guides, interpreters, colleagues, assistants and friends.  Although they generally worked in the background of mission activities, these people played important roles in the conduct and work of the Methodist missions.  

In this section, we present profiles of some of the men and women that played a largely unsung, yet crucial part in the development of the Methodist missions of Western Canada.
