A Land As Green As The Sea

In this excerpt from Tom Radford's film A Land As Green As The Sea, he explores the legacy of his grandparents who left Scotland during the Highland Clearances and founded the first newspaper in Edmonton.  They would become Pulitzer Prize winning journalists.

This film is one of the Scattering of Seeds series from White Pine Pictures. The series celebrates the character of immigrants who staked their futures and those of their families on a second chance in Canada.

Jane Todd's article from the Loyal Edmonton Regiment's magazine The Forty-Niner is the compelling tale of her life in war-time and the events and people that led to her arrival in Canada.
