Company's Coming Cookbooks

Jean PareCompany's Coming is now a household name amongst food lovers and cooks across Canada. The operation rose from humble beginnings when Jean Paré began developing recipes at her home in the small town of Vermilion.

Diabetic CookingParé ran a successful catering business and she received so many compliments on her food that she developed her first cookbook, 150 Delicious Squares, in 1981. Writing and testing her own recipes, she travelled across the province, finding retail accounts to publish her books. Hard working and determined, Paré published a second cookbook between sales trips, and single-handedly took care of invoicing, shipping, receiving and collections for the growing company.

Kid's CookParé had a vision when she first began publishing Company's Coming cookbooks. She wanted to provide individuals with a variety of recipes to make everyday cooking a pleasurable experience. Since its inception, Company's Coming has published over 60 cookbooks on a variety of different styles of cooking, with specialty books on ‘light' dishes, special occasions, diabetic cooking and cooking from various regions. Paré's endeavour has met tremendous success, with sales exceeding 20 million cookbooks since the beginning of the operation. Today, Company's Coming cookbooks are distributed worldwide, markets exist in Canada, the United States and internationally.

Mexican FoodCompany's Coming is a family-run organization and Paré's children oversee the operation of the business. To ensure a particular standard, each recipe within the Company's Coming cookbooks is kitchen-tested before it is approved.

Italian FoodThe Company's Coming website features free recipes, tips and tricks for cooking, a ‘reader circle' with the opportunity for swapping recipes, and a list of over 60 cookbook titles that can be purchased on-line.
