Frank McMahon

Frank McMahonOriginally from Saint-Paul Alberta, Frank McMahon studies at Collège Saint-Jean from 1950 to 1955. He studied and taught in Edmonton and area, through Ottawa, Montreal and to Rome and Cameroun. Saint-Jean is where he contributed the most both as an administrator and as a teacher from 1965 to 2002.

In 1988 he and a Francophone support group did a sit-in to protest the lack of a Francophone program at Edmonton Catholic Schools. This led to the program offered at École Maurice-Lavallée. This led to stronger Francophone programs in many Alberta school districts.
