Alberta's Telephone Heritage
left top menu

Today, it is hard to imagine life without the telephone. Yet, it was not always this way. Scientists and inventors experimented on their own for years with the principles that would later become crucial for the invention of the telephone, many of them not knowing the history they were about to become a part of. Other inquiring minds took past ideas and explored them further, inspiring new possibilities and opening more doors. It took years of hard, diligent work, and the compilation of the ideas of many scientists and inventors from around the world before the innovation that is the telephone would have its own place in society.
