King George V
King George V was the King of Britain during World War I. His full name was George Frederick Ernest Albert and he was born in 1865. King George was the second son of King Edward VII and the grandson of Queen Victoria. While growing up he trained for a career in the navy, and when his older brother died he became heir to the throne. It was during the war that he met Decoteau and gave him his pocket watch for winning a race. King George V died on January 20, 1936.
