Sam Donaghey
Sam Donaghey is a retired police sergeant who became a police historian. In 1966, while helping to move files, Donaghey discovered a news clipping about Decoteau in the bottom of a file drawer. He was one of the first people to research and write about Alex Decoteau's sports achievements and personal life story. Donaghey is responsible for introducing the Alex Decoteau story to the public.
