Have students apply their research to current issues using discussion
questions such as the following:

The stories of the Famous 5 and
The 'Persons' Case provide examples of women who have made a
difference. Have students look for other stories of Canadian or
international women and of other events that have advanced the cause
of democracy and citizenship in the 1900s. Have students develop their
own project that tells these stories.
