Established in 1972, the Francophonie jeunesse de l’Alberta (FJA) is a youth organization directed at individuals of 16 to 25 years of age. The organization attempts to help interested youth live more fully in French, a situation that can be difficult when one belongs to a minority group.

The association assists young people develop projects and social activities, offering leadership courses and the annual RaJe meeting for the francophone youth of the province. The 2004 meeting took place at Sherwood Park.

The FJA is currently directed by Guy Cormier and organized the 2004 Fête Franco-Albertaine, held in Beaumont and deemed a success.
