French Bookstores in Alberta

The Société francophone des arts visuels de l’Alberta is located in Edmonton on 9103-95 Avenue, and aims to give its members a space where they can show their work and promote their art.

The mandate of the society is to help raise consciousness concerning the cultural riches of art by offering workshops, demonstrations, expositions and traveling exhibits, all designed to increase the visibility of the artists and craftsmen who belong to the group across Alberta. The organization was created to facilitate networking and the meeting of artists, which encourages them in the feeling of belonging to the French culture and of being able to use their language in their work.

The society has a virtual art gallery on their website that showcases many examples of the work of their members.
