Quicklinks

Established in Edmonton in 1979, the traditional dance troupe, La Girandole, offers dance lessons in French to children and adults. Their studio is located at #10, 8925-82 Avenue. The more recently established troupe, Zéphyr, is a group of around 20 professional dancers who perform French-Canadian dances and jigs.

In addition to courses, La Girandole offers workshops and dance camps, and teaches other types of dances such as flamenco, Cuban salsa, hip hop for teenagers, even jazz and classical ballet. The organization also offers the community a resource center complete with a collection of recordings, books and films on dance, and costumes.
