For the last 15 years, Franco-Albertans have been organizing a festival in a different community each year. The festival is always organized by the youth organization, Francophonie Jeunesse de l’Alberta.

In 2004, the festival took place in Beaumont. As participants come from all over the province, there is always a campground available for those who wish to stay on-site for the weekend and take advantage of the presence of friends and acquaintances, renewing friendships and making new ones. An arts and crafts market is set up for artists and craftsmen, and various francophone organizations run booths.

The festival will take place at Bonnyville in 2005.
