Métis Jigging

Alberta Moments

Alberta Moments are one-minute, public service announcements (PSAs), written and produced by the Heritage Community Foundation. The clips are based on significant moments in Alberta’s heritage. The Foundation strives to stimulate learning and increase awareness by educating Albertans and Canadians alike in a compelling and inspiring way. It covers subject areas and themes which form the basis of the Foundation’s Alberta Online Encyclopedia, including Aboriginal, culture, education, history, nature, science, and technology. Currently 10 PSAs, nine of which are in English and French, are airing on television stations throughout Alberta in prime and non-prime time. These stations include:

  • Shaw Cable: Edmonton and Calgary

  • ACCESS Learning and Skills Television: Edmonton

  • City-TV: Edmonton and Calgary

  • Global Television: Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Medicine Hat

  • Radio-Canada: Edmonton

Celebrate Heritage
