The Heritage Community Foundation is proud to provide a dynamic platform to help make Alberta's history come alive for everyone! Explore aspects of Alberta's history through images, text and CKUA Radio Network's Heritage Trails. We hope that your experience fosters new understanding of the Alberta that was, a new appreciation for the Alberta that is, and optimism for the Alberta that will be.

Please join us here, in phase seven as we examine the cultural make up and dynamics of Alberta as a province. Themes here include Perspectives on what it means to be Albertan and the view others have of Albertans. Also discussed will be the Continuity & Change of developments such as immigration and urbanization, and how the Peoples of Alberta have adapted to life in the Canadian west and continue to contribute to its continued socio-economic success. We hope that by learning more about the history and cultural identity of the people who have chosen to make this province their home you will better understand how each of those cultural communities have evolved into vibrant, modern day Alberta society.
