Bigknife Creek

The name for this creek commemorates a confrontation between Big Man, a Cree, and Knife, a Blackfoot. Legend asserts that both of the men were killed during a fight with knives and tomahawks.

Flows north-east into Battle River, approximately 38 km north-east of Stettler.
