Acme
Category : Village | |
This settlement bears a name derived from the Greek word, acme, meaning "summit." When it was named, it was the most northerly point on the Canadian Pacific Railway branch. Many of the street names in the village take their names from early C.P.R. surveyors. The post office was known as "Tapscott" from 1905 through 1909. |
