Beacon Corner

A post office operated here from July 1949 through October 1965 and was originally called "Nova Vukkournya" by the first Romanian settlers. It was later anglicized to Beacon. The name was endorsed by the Geographic Board of Alberta in June 1979.

Approximately 27 km north north-east of St. Paul.
