Alexandra, Mount

This mountain, 3388 m in altitude, was named in 1902 by Sir James Outram (see Mount Outram). Queen Alexandra (1844-1925) was consort of King Edward VII. Her father was heir to the Danish throne. Queen Alexandra was an immediate and lasting favourite with the British public.

Approximately 145 km north-west of Banff, on the Alberta-BC. boundary.
