The spring which enters the north side of Crowsnest Lake is one of the main sources of the Crowsnest River and issues from a cave-like gash in the cliff. The name "The Cave" is therefore descriptive of this crevasse-like opening in the cliff.

Approximately 10 km west of Coleman.
