Aberdeen, Mount

This mountain was named in 1897 by J.J. McArthur, DLS, responsible for many of the photo topographical surveys along the railway line through the Rocky Mountains. It is named for John Campbell Gordon, Earl of Aberdeen, governor general of Canada between 1893 and 1898.
