Alexander Gate

Located in the Wainwright Regional Training Area, the name for this gate has been in use since at least 1909 when the Alexander family became the official gatekeepers. They lived a mere 270 metres south of the gate and the family name became firmly associated with the name for the gate.

Main entrance to the Canadian Forces Training Area on Hardisty Trail, 21 km south-west of the town of Wainwright.
