Big Hill Springs Provincial Park

This 25.47 hectare (62.94 acre) park was created by Order-in-council 568/79, and derives its name from the prominent hill in the area (see Big Hill). The First Nations people drove bison over a jump located on Big Hill and they camped at a spring of fresh water where ample wood and shelter were found in the coulee that eventually became part of the park.
