Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park

This 1,598-hectare provincial park was created in 1975. The name incorporates two notable features within the park; a bison jump and a large mesa or butte bordered by a dry river channel on one side and the Red Deer River on the other is traditionally known as the “dry island.” |
