Oil and Gas

Multiphase FlowmeterThe oil and gas industry is currently the biggest industry in Alberta, and the one that brings in the most revenue for the province. Technology in this industry is very advanced, and research in this area continues to be one of the top priorities of researchers concerned with natural resources. There have been many developments over the years, all of which have improved oil production in the province.

Researchers have been concerned with exploring new and better ways to find the oil and gas deposits and get the materials out of the ground.
