Unemployment demonstration, 1933What would politics in Alberta, or anywhere in the world, be without people?  Politics is not just something that happens!  It takes determined men and women to make social and political change happen.  Some of these people are politicians who work on changing legislation and other official political matters, but some are ordinary people who want to make a difference in their lives and in the lives of their fellow citizens and work at government from outside the Legislative Assembly to get the results they want.

Politicians are elected into office by people, and they Duggan, Aberhart and Howson are to represent the desires and needs of their constituents.  People of any age, sex and nationality are capable of creating change by speaking with the Member  of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) elected by their constituency

People are not separate from the political process, they ARE the political process!

Voices of Politics
Ernie Dick presents this documentary on William Aberhart. He attributes Aberhart's success to his mastery of radio, his Biblical insight and explanations and his ability to cut across denominational lines.
