This article relates the commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Scalabrini Fathers, at Santa Maria Goretti Community Centre. In 1887, Giovanni Battista Scalabrini created a congregation of missionaries to serve the Italian immigrants; they established churches, helped compatriots celebrate births and deaths, and adapt to their new lives in Little Italy.
