Pioneer Thresherman's Association

The Pioneer Thresherman's Association at Triangle formed as a society dedicated to preserving the agricultural and pioneer heritage of the region including such towns as High Prairie, Donnelly, McLennan, Valleyview and Grouard. The original members of the association took a particular interest in the preservation of steam powered agricultural machinery, but this interest soon expanded into a wide range of other pioneer artifacts.

In 1962, the Association opened the Pioneer Thresherman's Museum, to house a growing collection of antique farming vehicles and implements. The collection features both open air and indoor displays that trace the rural heritage of the region.

The Museum is located west of High Prairie at the Triangle junction where Highway 2 running east to west meets with Highway 2 running north and south. The entrance to the museum is about half a kilometre north of the junction.
