Edmonton Oilers Heritage Website

The Oilers Heritage Database contains over 10,000 images that have defined Edmonton hockey history. Much of the database is dedicated to players who have worn Edmonton Oiler colours. From draft picks that never played in the NHL to longtime Oiler legends, Oilers who have played one game or over 1,000 can be found within our people/player search. For players like Gretzky�who alone has over 900 images in our database�the number of photos returned maybe limited by specifying a season.

The season by season exclusive drop-down list is a convenient way to search the database to find team images by a particular year. If you need to find images of the team from the 1989-90 season, or forgot the name of a player but know he played in 1981-82, use the drop-down list to limit the search. A word of warning; a search by season may give well over twenty pages, with ten images per page.

The database also has a great collection of Oilers memorabilia. Using the keyword search, type in a description of the item that needs to be found. All items contained in the collection can be accessed with this search. This includes banners, championship rings, player jerseys, and autographed hockey sticks.

If a search is successful, a collection of thumbnails with a short description is vertically sorted on the page. To view a more detailed image, left-click on the thumbnail and a pop-up of the larger picture will be generated.
