Cultural Healing

Hide Tanning In this section of the site, we explore the significance of cultural healing in the Treaty 6 area. Here, we will discuss the importance of maintaining and practicing traditional justice and healing, which help to restore individual and cultural harmony. We will also celebrate the ways in which traditional customs, including art, mythology, music, dance, and storytelling and oral history, are working to heal those in the communities of Treaty 6. These are the elements that have helped the Treaty 6 peoples persevere and maintain their cultures in the face of change and adversity. They will guide coming generations into a promising future.
