Breton and District Historical Museum

The Brenton and District Historical Museum

The Breton and District Historical Museum is located at 4715 – 51 Street in Breton. The collection at the museum includes a one-room cabin from pioneer times, a 1940’s classroom, and a 1920’s general store. There is information on the history of Keystone, one of four original black communities in Alberta, and there are displays of early logging equipment. The museum participates in a Black History Celebration and International Museums Day.

July 1 – Labour Day
Daily, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Also open by appointment
