Amazing Discovery

University of Calgary scientists have documented the firstfootprints of the prehistoric North American camel ever found onCanadian soil. Nearby, they have identified barrel-sized tracks of woolly mammoth, fragile preserved bones of extinct bootherium muskoxen, pony-sized North American horses, and giant bison, plus the earliest evidence in Alberta of the human hunters who shared their environment over 11, 000 years ago.
