Avonlea Points

A collection of Avonlea points from Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump. The small size of many of these points suggests to archaeologists that the Avonlea people were the first peoplein Alberta to make regular use of the bow and arrow for hunting as early as 1900 years ago.
