Plaque for the Original Gravesite of Twelve Foot Davis

Twelve Foot Davis' plaque.

"Twelve Foot" Davis Gravestone
This is the original gravestone of Henry Fuller "Twelve Foot" Davis. After their brief internment at Grouard, the remains of Davis were finally rested at a location overlooking the town of Peace River. To acknowledge his birth, this gravestone was ordered to be constructed of Vermont marble. A larger monument now commemorates his life.
