Portrait of Nellie McClung by Alice Tyler, displayed in the Alberta Legislature Communities, governments and heritage organizations have marked the Persons' Case victory, paying tribute to each of the Famous 5 in a number of ways over the years.

Each time one of these women is commemorated individually or altogether, Canadians are reminded of the importance of the Famous 5’s political achievements and the strong connection and passion for the communities they came from. So too does one think of the tireless leadership that continues to serve Canadians both legally and as an inspiration to enact further change in the face of injustice.
