The cultural life of an ethnic community is embodied in many different ways. These traditions often centre
around things like food, music, sports, and religion. In a multicultural society like Canada, these traits
of cultural life grow evermore complex as cultures blend and adapt. It is very interesting to compare and
contrast just how differently peoples of various ethnic backgrounds have adjusted to life in modern Alberta.
It is our intention to provide some basic examples of how certain people within the ethnic communities
have handled this.
